We’re proud to be celebrating Scottish Apprenticeship Week, recognising the importance of apprenticeships for individuals and businesses across Scotland.

Remploy support more than 200 businesses across Scotland, and are committed to working alongside organisations in Lanarkshire and Tayside who offer apprenticeships and training for our participants.

We have recently partnered with QA Limited to source these opportunities for Fair Start Scotland participants who are facing barriers to employment and struggling to kickstart their careers. As this is a new relationship, we are excited to see it grow over the coming months and years.

Founded more than 35 years ago, QA are the UK’s leading provider of tech talent and training solutions, offering learning and development solutions to both businesses and individuals worldwide.

Alison Cantle, Marketing Manager at QA, said: “QA have been providing digital and tech apprenticeship opportunities in Scotland for over 10 years. We are delighted to be partnering with Remploy as this partnership will enable young people across Scotland to access this growing sector and build themselves a successful future.”

Julie Dennis, Regional Account Manager at Remploy, added: “Having recently established a new working partnership with QA Apprenticeships in both Lanarkshire and Tayside, I am excited to see this progress into positive career paths for our Fair Start Scotland participants.

“Being able to offer apprenticeships to a younger group of participants is a great way to give them the opportunity to develop their skills and gain vital experience, whilst being paid.”

Apprenticeships provide the opportunity for people from diverse or disadvantaged backgrounds to gain hands-on experience and develop key skills. By working with organisations like QA, we can empower people of all ages to unlock their true potential and succeed in their careers.
