Who are Remploy Cymru?
Remploy Cymru is a leading provider of specialist employment and skills support for people with disabilities and health conditions in Wales. Our mission is to transform the lives of disabled people and those with complex barriers to work by providing sustainable employment opportunities.
Remploy Cymru operates a network of Community Hubs and field teams across Wales, providing employment support to adults of working age referred to us by Job Centre Plus.

Why create a Community Partnership Network?
The purpose of the Community Partnership Network (CPN) is to work collaboratively across Wales to ensure that we support more disabled and disadvantaged groups into sustainable employment by offering all participants an individualised and tailored support service, joining up and maximising existing services.
As the Prime contractor for the UK Government’s new Work and Health programme in Wales, Remploy Cymru are looking to become more integrated in local communities to ensure that we are not duplicating existing services.
Partnership working is required by the Government as an approach to ensure better relationships between central and local government, public, private, third sector and voluntary organisations. Partnership working has huge benefits, allowing organisations to share information, resources, skills and knowledge. We are fully embracing the concept, both in local communities and nationally. Our aim is to ensure that we support our programme participants effectively, with the right advice and guidance, providing a truly tailored service.
It is our hope that our CPN will grow and evolve over time.

Joining the CPN - what is in it for your organisation?
Remploy Cymru host quarterly Community Partnership Network meetings, which are held in either Remploy or Partner venues in the North, South East and South West Wales. These meetings allow Remploy and those who join the CPN to work collaboratively. The CPN brings together private, public and voluntary sector organisations working in health, skills and employability.
The CPN meetings provide organisations involved or interested in supporting disabled and disadvantaged people into employment, the opportunity to:
- Network and share best practice
- Raise awareness of existing services
- Discuss gaps in existing provision
- Discuss proposals for new programmes to meet gaps in provision
- Update other organisations on good news, activities, projects and milestones
- Create a network of contacts and potential partners.
- Free hot desking facilities within six Community Hub locations in Wales, based in Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Wrexham, Merthyr and Pontypridd
- Inclusion in our preferred supplier list for call off services
- Membership on our CPN Advisory Board (dependent of expression of interest and annual selection to the Board).
Our partnership portal
The aim of our partnership portal is to create a central location for all CPN partners to be able to access information and updates from all of our fellow partners. This enables the cross promotion of services and to support further integration and alignment of services across Wales enhancing the journey of all of our service users.
