Employment support in Scotland

Fair Start Scotland

Fair Start Scotland is an employment service which aims to deliver a flexible, tailored, personal approach, to help unemployed people find real jobs or stay in their job.

Remploy is contracted to deliver the Fair Start Scotland service on behalf of the Scottish Government in Lanarkshire with delivery partners Routes to Work South and Enable Scotland, and in Angus, Dundee, Perth and Kinross with Rathbone. Remploy will also be supporting People Plus as a partner in the Glasgow area.

Through the delivery of the Fair Start Scotland Service, the Scottish Government is looking to support a minimum of 38,000 participants.

Work First Scotland 

Work First Scotland supports more than 3,300 disabled people helping them make the most of their skills and access employment support services that help them in to and keep a job. This support is built on a coaching relationship with a dedicated case manager.

Work Able Scotland

Work Able Scotland is managed by Skills Development Scotland and seeks to develop the skills of up to 1,500 people with a health condition who want to enter work.
