How we're supporting Scotland

Through a network of seven branches and offices; including DundeeEdinburgh, GlasgowStirlingHamiltonAirdrie and Ayrshire, our specialist advisors work with disabled people to understand their career aspirations and specific development needs. This enables us to create personalised support plans and equip individuals with the right skills to move into sustainable employment.

Our growing presence in Scotland means that since 2010, Remploy has found more than 8,500 jobs in Scotland for disabled and disadvantaged people.  Remploy Scotland will continue to provide a best in market service in our delivery of Work First and Work Able from April 2017,the new devolved interim employment programmes for Scotland.  For more information on Work Able Scotland please watch their video below by clicking on the link and using the password provided.

Matt Lancashire, Remploy Scotland Director, said : “We asked all our colleagues in Scotland for their ideas on how we could drive our business forward and as co-owners we now have a great opportunity to build on our success so far.”

Our vision is to be the leading Scottish disability organisation which transforms society and the lives of disabled people, exceeding the expectations of our customers. Nicole and Lynn are just some of our success stories on how we have transformed lives in Scotland.

Remploy is signed up to the Scottish Business Pledge alongside being business pledge accredited, showing its support for a fairer Scotland and enabling fairer work in Scotland. The pledge is aligned with Remploy’s values and our mission to create an inclusive society. We encourage other businesses that we work with to sign the pledge and help to create more employment opportunities for disabled people in Scotland.

Remploy work with a range of organisations throughout Scotland including: national and local Government, employers, local authorities, employment providers, healthcare providers, colleges and housing associations – matching them with the right people for their business and helping them to build and sustain a skilled and diverse workforce.

We are currently looking for organisations to support us in delivery of future contracts. Make sure you register your interest to join our Transforming Lives Community. The Transforming Lives Community is comprised of a range of organisations in Scotland working in partnership to deliver an integrated service to support customers into fair sustainable employment. The community recognises that every customer is unique and different and their journey into sustainable fair employment must reflect a person centred and tailored approach.
