Personalised Employment Programme (PEP)

Partnership Opportunities

What is PEP?

PEP will amalgamate into a single contract, a range of existing funding streams to deliver provision for Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA) customers; Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) customers and other voluntary customers.

To accommodate the needs of all these customer groups there are two elements of support that must be delivered within PEP. These are:

  • Work Focused Interviews (WFIs) and associated Action Plans;
  • Work Related Activity (WRA) including employability and skills development activities.

 Contracts commence delivery March 2011 and will be awarded for a period of 4 years.

Building on our experience in delivery of Flexible New Deal and Pathways to Work, Remploy are now developing partnerships for our PEP tender submissions.

What opportunities are available?

We wish to build formal partnerships with national and local organisations representative of the public, private and 3rd sectors in order to develop PEP services responsive to the needs of local communities, employers and other stakeholders.

We are seeking to partner with quality driven organisations able to deliver some or all of the following services:

  • Employability - Advice & Guidance, Soft Skills, CV development, Job Search support and Work Experience.
  • Specialist Services - Targeted interventions to address customer needs and barriers to sustainable employment. This could include supporting specific groups such as People with Disabilities, Lone Parents/Families, Carers, Homeless, Substance Abusers and Ex Offenders.
  • Skills - Sector specific and generic skills delivered as short pre employment programmes and through ongoing workplace delivery.

 Remploy are seeking partners able to offer services within the geographical areas below.

  • North and North East London (London Boroughs of Barnet, Haringey and Enfield)
  • Thames Valley, Hampshire and Isle of Wight (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Isle of Wight)

In order to offer local solutions to local issues, we are keen to discuss partnership with organisations able to deliver specialist services to specific client groups or within specific geographies with high levels of unemployment and deprivation.
