Remploy jobs fair supports Leicester's disabled jobseekers

Leicester branchThe event will take place on 21st February at Remploy’s city centre branch on Humberstone Gate between 10am and 1pm, and is open to anyone with a disability or health condition who is looking for work. Visitors will be able to see at first hand the employment opportunities available in the area and the wide range of support services provided by Remploy.
Key local employers including Royal Bank of Scotland, Bradgate Bakery, National Grid, ASDA and Leicester University are keen to recruit disabled employees and will be exhibiting at the event.
Remploy specialist employment advisors will be available to help jobseekers link up with local employers and offer guidance on job searching and training opportunities. Additionally, Jobcentre Plus advisors will provide benefit-related advice.
Remploy is the UK's leading provider of employment services for people with disabilities and health conditions. The opening of its Leicester branch in January 2005 marked a new direction in the company’s determination to find jobs for even more people in the Leicestershire region. More than 300 local people have secured jobs via the branch and it is hoped that the February jobs fair will further increase the number of disabled people supported into employment in the area.
