Union plan unrealistic

Huddersfield company wins major automotive contract
In a deal estimated to be worth more than £1.5m, Huddersfield company Remploy Automotive Interior Trim, based on the Tandem Industrial Estate, has won a major contract with the European automotive seating supplier Proseat to supply four million seat undercovers per year. The covers, which improve seat durability and help reduce noise, are moulded into Proseat’s seat foam structures that they supply to a number of car manufacturers.
