International Day of Disabled People

International Day of Disabled People

The International Day of Disabled People (IDDP) is celebrated annually across the world on 3 December to promote awareness of disability issues, the rights of disabled people and the integration of disabled people into their local communities.

As an organisation with a mission to transform the lives of disabled people by providing sustainable employment opportunities, Remploy fully supports IDDP each year by raising awareness of disability and encouraging discussion about the skills, abilities and achievements of disabled people.

To support the day, Remploy is asking you to join the Remploy Relay, an innovative and fun way of spreading the message of IDDP with the theme ‘Aiming High and Achieving More.’

Remploy is asking each person who is given a baton, virtual or real, to share an inspirational story of a disabled person, or group or organisation linked to disability, aimed high and as a result achieved more. Share your story now and inspire others.

Help support IDDP

To support this activity, Remploy is introducing the Remploy Relay, an innovative way of passing on the IDDP and Remploy messages.
