International Day of Disabled People

International Day of Disabled People

International Day of Disabled People is celebrated annually on 3 December, to raise awareness of disability issues.

As an organisation, we are passionately committed to greater inclusion and equality for disabled people, through sustainable employment, and Remploy fully supports IDDP each year by raising awareness around disability.

Did you know: The employment rate of disabled people is less than 50% compared to almost 80% of non-disabled people*.

Together we can do something about it and bridge this gap!

This year, Remploy is celebrating International Day of Disabled People by making a pledge to help bridge the employment rate gap, increasing the number of disabled people in employment.

We want everyone to get involved and join us in making a pledge…

Tell us the one thing you’re going to do to increase opportunities for disabled people to get into or return to work...

Or, the one thing you’re going to do to move closer to realising your career aspirations...
