Catherine is happy to help at Asda.

Twenty-seven-year-old Catherine Harms had been unemployed for six months before being referred by Jobcentre Plus to her local Remploy recruitment branch in Nottingham.

Here she received expert advice from the team of employment advisors headed up by branch manager Peter Clarence. He said: "At the branch we understand that advice on job searching is just the beginning! We offer a range of practical activities which improve confidence, the ability to work in a team and interview skills and it all adds up to better employment prospects. Catherine is the 100th person to find a job with our. support - so we know we have the winning formula at Remploy."

Catherine, who has diabetes, is delighted to be back in the world of work at the Asda store on Loughborough Road, West Bridgford. She said: "In the past I have lacked confidence because of my health condition but my time at Remploy helped me feel differently. I love working on the checkout and talking to customers - it really brightens my day!"

Remploy branches have formed strong links with local and national companies including retail giant Asda and the benefits add up all round. Asda service manager Kerry Salmon said:

"Catherine is brilliant. She is friendly and has a great attitude to work. The calibre of candidates from Remploy is always very high and I look forward to the continuation of our partnership with them."
