Andrew finds 'fresh' start.

Andrew has Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and eczema and had been out of work for over six months when he discovered Remploy's services while attending a local jobs fair.

He explained: "I had worked within retail for a number of years and was desperately trying to get a job in the sector again. However, no matter how many applications I sent off, I simply wasn't getting anywhere. As you can imagine, this knocked my confidence considerably."

Remploy's specialist employment advisors at the Cardiff branch in Golate worked with Andrew to provide help and support to increase his confidence, organise his CV in and practise interview techniques. They even helped to arrange a job trial.

Following an interview with Morrisons Andrew received the good news that he had been offered a job as a grocery assistant.

He said: "I was overjoyed when I received the news - I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel." Andrew added: "Working again has made such a difference to my life. Not only does it mean I am financially independent but my confidence has grown tremendously and I am enjoying working as part of a team - it's great."
