Directgov - information for disabled people
Directgov is a website that provides the public with a single point of access to government services and information. A key section of Directgov is for disabled people. The section covers more than just benefits and disability rights - other topics include employment, independent living, health, education and travel. Other sections of Directgov include information for parents, carers and over 50s.
The Disability and Carers Directorate within the Department for Work and Pensions is responsible for providing an efficient, reliable and considerate system of Disability Benefits, and for all disability civil rights issues.
