Remploy, in partnership with Twining Enterprise and Richmond Council, are delivering employment support to adults with specialist needs who are residents of Richmond upon Thames.
We believe that employment should be a realistic option for all those who want to work. Equality and diversity in the workplace is something that we are passionate about and we are committed to supporting more people with a range of disabilities to prepare for, find and stay in a job.
Richmond Works takes a person-centred approach with the aim of helping disabled people and those with health conditions to gain the skills and expertise they need to get ready for work and move into employment.
From our base within the Borough of Richmond, our professional and friendly advisors provide a wide range of employment-related support, which includes:
- Confidence building
- Training and skills development
- Confidential, one-to-one employment advice
- Help to write a great CV
- Access to the latest vacancies with local employers
- Job search guidance and help with completing application forms
- Interview practice
- On-going support to remain in work and with career progression.
This service is available to residents of Richmond upon Thames with a range of support needs and disabilities, including; individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, substance misuse issues, physical and sensory impairments and autistic spectrum conditions*.
