Remploy is working in partnership with NAS to support people with Autism (including Asperger’s syndrome) to find and remain in work, as well as helping employers to open up their recruitment policies to this group of people.
With the help and expertise of NAS we are able to fully understand the needs of people with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), so that we can support them to lead a fully inclusive and independent life through work.
Our aim is to empower each individual that we work with, increasing their confidence and self-belief, to enable them to thrive in a working environment.
Many people with an ASD are highly skilled, qualified and extremely employable. We work with employers, helping them to recognise the benefits, and understand the practicalities, of employing someone with an ASD. In turn, this allows them to demonstrate their commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive attitude to the employment of disabled people.
