Specialist services

At Remploy, we have a wide range of Specialist Services, including some unique assessments, offering practical support for anyone with complex or multiple barriers to employment. These include:

• Core skills assessments - identifying transferable skills and matching to job goals
• Job skills assessments - real work based assessment to check workability
• Dyslexia assessments - evaluating Dyslexia traits and matching to job goal
• Job coaching - a systematic approach to on the job training for people with learning disabilities or difficulties
• Life skills training - modules focussed on the basic skills of getting up for and attending work every day.

Focusing on Learning, Disability and Mental Health issues, our experienced Specialist Services advisors provide individually tailored support to help disabled people progress towards the labour market and prepare them to access Remploy's range of recruitment services.

We can enable disabled people to identify and break down their individual barriers to employment, however complex they may seem, and to understand their transferable skills and identify the most suitable job goals.  We have particular experience of working with those who have remained in the same environment for a long time and so have become institutionalised.

We also provide on-going support to individuals once they have found employment, to help make sure they have the best chance of remaining in work and to develop their skills in the working environment.
