Graduate Advantage
Remploy is working with Graduate Advantage in the West Midlands to offer paid work placements and employment opportunities to local graduates.
Our support is completely free. All we ask is that graduates who enrol live in the West Midlands and have a disability, learning difference or health condition.
No matter what industry you're interested in, we can help you to find the right work placement or job for you. When you register with Remploy, we will work with you to maximise your employability skills, we do this by:
- Helping you to develop your CV
- Boosting your confidence
- Developing your communication and presentation skills
We will then help you to find a work placement or a permanent job and continue to support you once you start work.
Work placements
Work placements are a fantastic way to gain some valuable, practical experience and can lead to permanent employment!
Employers find real business benefits in work placements too, not to mention the £1,000* subsidy (small and medium enterprises only) they could get to pay for their new recruit. Businesses often find that employing graduates on work placements can help them to get ahead of the competition through developing new products and entering new markets or simply to help cover staff leave. In return, businesses can improve the skills and future employability of local graduates, keeping West Midlands' talent and skills local to the West Midlands.
