With over 60 years experience supporting people with disabilities and health conditions in the workplace, Remploy have developed and adapted our assessment and support services specifically for the liability and life Insurance market, covering all types of injuries, disabilities and health conditions.
Remploy provides a cost effective and ethical rehabilitation service; maintaining impartiality throughout the process. We do not get involved in aspect of litigation and can provide our services on a without prejudice basis, before admissions of liability, to enable early intervention rehabilitation to take place.
Evidence illustrates that once on SSP (Statutory Sick Pay) for 6-12 months claimants remain off work for at least 5 years, if not provided with any rehabilitation.
How to refer:
- Complete the referral form and most recent medical information
- Our administrators will confirm safe receipt and pass to an Initial Assessor who will make telephone contact with the claimant (if approval from claimant, their solicitor and insurer has been obtained) to assess what rehabilitation service they require.
- All parties will then receive a brief report outlining what medical and/or vocational rehabilitation services are most appropriate for the claimant and the proposed costs.
