I'm a Person Too

Remploy is working in partnership with I’m a Person Too!, to support people with learning disabilities to find and remain in employment, as well as helping employers to open up their recruitment polices to disabled people. 

With the help of I’m a Person Too we are able to improve understanding of a range of issues faced by individuals with learning disabilities in our society.

We do this in a number of ways, including supporting our employer partners to:

• Fully understand what is meant by the term learning disability
• Understand their responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010
• Gain the skills and confidence they need to work with people with learning disabilities more effectively
• Ensure that people are treated fairly and given equal opportunities.
