Lisieux Trust Disability Information Resource Centre (DIRC) is a 'shop fronted' centre that offers information and support to people with disabilities, their carers and families in the local community. We are a free service, and can support clients with a variety of presenting issues. These include, but are not limited to applying for disability related benefits or grants, assisting with financial difficulties, seeking employment or training, short breaks, accessibility, housing, finding local support groups, rights and discrimination, social and leisure activities, blue badges and disabled bus pass applications. We are a small team made up of paid staff as well as a small team of volunteers, many who themselves have disabilities or who are carers. The DIRC who offer appointments as well as a drop in service, Monday – Friday 10-4pm.

Is your provision contract specific
Dependent on nature of enquiry. Complex work, including form filling appointments normally within 5-10 working days. Same day 'drop in' appointments for queries such as blue badge, disabled bus pass applications
Cost of Services
To clients the service is offered free of charge at the DIRC. For setting up and carrying out 'outreach surgeries' in partnership with organisations there would be a charge to cover staff member costs, and out of pocket expenses such as travel etc to venue.
Payment terms for chargeable productsservices
Invoice would be raised to be paid within 30 days.
