What it means A work trial can last between 2 and 8 weeks, and you’ll normally be expected to work between 25 and 30 hours a week. It is an opportunity to demonstrate your suitability for the job and show that you can work as part of a team. At the end of a work trial you could be offered a position if you have shown that you are “right” for the job.
