Eurest caters for Swansea job seekers

Eurest has a 50 year history of providing high quality catering and support services to business and industry. It employs more than 40,000 people and serves over a million customers a day. Its major clients include Tesco, Sainsbury's, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Thomson Travel.  

Alison Brennan is the assistant manager for Eurest at the Tesco Extra café in Fforestfach. She heard about the services of Remploy after hiring a candidate through the Government's New Deal scheme and was keen to explore new ways of recruiting staff. After a successful meeting with a local Remploy advisor a partnership was agreed. Four successful applicants have now started work at the café.

Alison explains: "Jobseekers put forward by Remploy all want to work and have benefited greatly from the training and advice they have received.

"We have worked closely with the Remploy team in Swansea so that we have a mutual understanding of one another's requirements. We have been extremely impressed with the calibre of candidates put forward.

"Our future plans are to continue recruiting through Remploy wherever possible, and we look forward to seeing the relationship develop further over time."
