Admiral

Working with Admiral is plain sailing!

"We want hard working people with enthusiasm  and most importantly, personality. A disability or mental health problem does not affect that"

Remploy has teamed up with insurance company Admiral to help more disabled people in the Cardiff area into jobs.

The partnership will ensure that disabled candidates can apply for Admiral's vacancies and are considered for all roles. Jobseekers working with specialist advisors at the Cardiff recruitment branch will be guaranteed interviews and also have the opportunity to visit the company's headquarters.

Remploy recognised the value of a potential partnership with such a major employer and approached Admiral to discuss the benefits that each organisation could bring to each other.

Kate Brain, manager of Remploy's Cardiff branch, said: "A number of Remploy jobseekers have already gone to work with Admiral and things are going well. We are working closely together to ensure that we can match people to available jobs and hope the relationship will develop and that more disabled people will get jobs with the company."

Richard Thorne, Admiral's people services operations manager, added: "Being recognised consistently as an organisation that values its staff, we pride ourselves on having a culture of equality and diversity. What matters most to us as an employer is how someone deals with our customers. We want hard working people with enthusiasm and most importantly, personality. A disability or mental health problem does not affect that."
