In 2010-11 Remploy found more than 20,000 jobs in mainstream employment for people with a range of physical, sensory and learning disabilities, mental health issues and other complex barriers to employment.

Remploy operates a network of more than 60 town and city centre recruitment branches and offices, which provide specialist recruitment and development services to jobseekers.

The company partners with some of the country's biggest organisations to find jobs for disabled people, including BT, RBS, Royal Mail, Sainsbury’s the National Health Service, Marks & Spencer, G4S and ASDA.

The company has a Vocational Rehabilitation business that advises employers on retaining in work people who have developed a disability or health condition.

Remploy partners with a wide range of local and national organisations including specialist disability organisations, local service providers, government agencies and departments, City Partnerships and Local Authorities to develop and deliver effective integrated services for disabled people which address individual and local needs.

Remploy is implementing a five-year Modernisation Plan, approved by the Government, which set the company the target of finding jobs for 20,000 disabled people each year by 2012/13.

Remploy remains the country's largest specialist employer of disabled people with more than 2,400 disabled employees at 54 factories around Britain

Remploy supplies chemical and biological protection suits to police and armed forces in the UK and abroad; it is a major supplier of furniture to the UK education sector; operates an IT recycling business; and manufactures components for leading motor manufacturers.

Remploy is a Non-Departmental Public Body, funded by the Department for Work and Pensions. It receives a grant of £111m a year over the five years to 2012/13.
